i got two audiobahn aw1200eu's for xmas...i only have one hooked up because i only have a jl, 500/1...i was thinking about getting a jbl bp1200.1 so i could distribute 600 rms to each sub...right now the one audobahn is in a 1.25 cube box tuned to 30 hz...its gettin about 550 from that jl....specs say it can take 700....am i under powering it....in the spring i plan on building a box...to where i can give each sub about....2 cubes a piece...i wanna get a jl because i like the features on it....when i bought my girlfriend a bp 600.1...i wasnt very thrilled with the features on it...but it can give subs the power...i gave her my eclipse 88120.4...then we traded it for a dvc...and it slams...well for a buick...BIG CAR with a BIG trunk...
anyway...im trying to decide whether to get a jl 500/1...or just let the one i have now collect dust...and get a jbl 1200.1 keep in mind this is for street beatin...not competition...

Sell the JL and get the JBL BP1200.1. Its very nice amp and can get had for $270 on ebay. BRAND NEW!!!!

for the price of 2 jl's you could have 3-4 jbl's.

made up my mind...imma get a jl 500/1...because its better to have quality over quantity...when i got my girl that jl amp...it was wierd as hell...cuz it doesnt have all the features the jl does...thats the main thing...not to mention the optional bass remote(which i have) is hella nice...i get hella wow points for people who ride in my car(hey i need to have somethin nice considering the car is a real piece of sh!t and it about to go real soon unless i get alotta stuff fixed on it...ill tell u one thing tho...jl could made one hell of a crossover...i mean seriously...the day they stop putting them fea`tures on amps...and puttin em on electronic crossovers...is the day i switch to another brand for amps...(im stuck with a mtx 4424 for the fronts till 4 yrs from now i can afford a jl 300/4...haha)
