Im getting a good deal on two vega vega 15's. But the thing is that i only have 4 cubes max to work with so im thinking that i wont be able to get as much out of the subs as i can. I also have found two brand new vega hed's on sale on ebay for 159. I know these are vega's lower line but do they sound good? and would two 15's get loud in my 91 integra four door sedan? i can get either pair. the vega vegas are 230 shipped and the hed's are probably gonna be 200 shipped the vegas' are also brand new. so wich would you guys choose because i will order either pair tonight!

4cubes is just enough space for 1 of the Vega series 15's let alone 2. I believe the HED's need smaller boxes,I believe those would be the better choice for your application.

did you ever think of going isobaric with the vega vega's. It would take about 3.5 cu.ft. total for both and quite loud, and sound good. I heard bad things about the hed's so i wouldn't go along that line. Also the vega vega's need to be ported, stress NEED to be ported, if you seal them they will sound like @$$ and blow very easily. JMO. you can use exactly 1/2 of the regular box size for one or up to about 1.5 cu.ft. bigger. also use about 1.5 of the regular port area and experiment with length to get your best result.

Personally, I would go for the pair of Cerwin Vega Vega series 15's. If you oinly have enough space for one, then just use one, and sell the other or keep it as back up, or better yet just buy one! JMHO M@tthew

I would go with the Vega series 15's over the HED's anyday. If you only have 4 cubes total, that's enough for 1 Vega 15 or 2 of the HED's, but the Vega only works in ported, and it'd be exactly 4ccubes, or the HED should work in 4 cubes sealed (2 a piece), but the one vega series will outperform the HED's annyday of the week. If you are getting a deal on two, then just use the one for now, and have the other as a back up just in case. If you do get the Vega series, a box that's 4 cubes and 40-48in of port tuned to 35hz, and you'll be blown away.
