if i wanna make a complete rounded port end off of 3/4 mdf do i use a 3/8 inch bit on both sides? And is the "bondo " brand fiberglass resin with hardener a good resin to use ?

im actually talkin about rounding the ends of the end of the port length.... I think a 3/8 bit will do it well but im just checkin what other ppl use

DBB what im trying to do is round the end of my port... So figuring my mdf is 3/4 im hoping it will work out when i try to round the ends with 3/8 roound edges

i use a 3/4" bit and hold it up it leaves a little ridge that sands out smooth

if so, then bigger is always better, yes, anywhere upto the thickness of the baffel
I have 3 router bits on the way... 5/8 round over (for 3/4 and 5/8 MDF) 1 inch round over (who wouldn't want a 1inch flare on their ports?) and a flush cutting router bit
