I have the Clarion DXZ945MP and I just took some pics of the dash kit that I vinyled to match my interior, I like the way it looks because it flushes up to the main dash piece and the trim ring fits in very tight!

Currently I am in the process of taking apart an xbox and eventually I will fiberglass my dash to house the main dvd-rom drive, my deck, and possibly a 7"-9" screen.

My clarion is a bugger to get no gap between it and the dash kit.

I hate that GM does the stupid 1 1/2 din thing.
