There's a good deal on a rf 200a4 and I'm planning on buying it. But for now i will use it for the whole system, 2 6.5" cerwin vega
coaxigals and 2 12" subs. Will the amp do ok or is it too much, how much power should it pump out in tri mode, 2 ch for mids an 2 ch bridged for the subs? I'll buy a 500a2 for the subs later and use the 200a4 for the mids. Does it sounds like a good idea, thanks for your opinions.

The 200.4 is a little light for serious woofer duty, but will do while you save for that 500a2. The 200a4 does make a very nice high end amp.

I've noticed that 2 channel amps seem
more suited to sub loads than 4 channels.
Of course there are exceptions.
