Hey, I have a Pontiac Grand Prix, 2000, and am installing my new system in prep for SQ usaci this spring. Right now I have my amps mounted in a fiberglass enclosure, carpeted, in my wheel well, with a false floor, and a sub box with 2 idmax12's facing the back bumper. I also have an alumapro 15 farad cap and AudioControl DQT that I am going to instal. I am planing on using paneling and fiberglass, lets see if I can explain.
I'm going to have a wooden frame that I will stretch fleece over and under the rubber moulding, glass it, bondo, sand, then vynil over. Now my questions are: Will it look ok if I vynil the paneling and the false floor, but then keep the wheel well carpeted with the amps? Also, should I instal the cap and eq on the side panels, or flush with the false floor? Third, should I have the subs face the rear bumper still, and keep the subs normal or show the baskets, or should I face the subs foreward and have windows to see the baskets in the box?

Wow. Sounds like a question(s) of personal taste. I would suggest maintaining some continuity in your design. Abrupt changes in material texture or finish could cause problems UNLESS you are able to make it look intentional. There are practical concerns, like accesibility to adjustments, fuses, remaining trunk space for trophies, etc.
Design skills are strange. You either have it or you don't. Have you seen the show "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy"...They have it, and their victims don't! Look at you're wardrobe, house decorations, etc. Do you have it? If not, find someone who does and enlist their help. Here is where an interested girlfriend or spouse can come in handy....They usually have it!

Im sry i might get flamed for this and i know it doesnt have anything to do with this thread. but what is the facination with Queers now a days that is some nasty CRAP and people such as my self dont want to hear about that junk(not dissin you Brad i see your point)but how can a bunch of F@ggets straightin out someones life when they are as warped as the Voice coils on a 6pack of funky pupps with a JBL Crown 6000 on them<<< A lil car audio humour and i truly dont care if anyone is offended by any thing i have said if u are call those stupid shows and ask to get on them i hate all Queer's i dont care how nice they are or what they do in this world the only thing they are good for is Spreading AIDS to girls and giving them to us guys through the girls and i dont see that as helpfull at all!!!! If this offends anyone SCREW YOU TAKE YOUR PROBLEMS TO YOUR QUEER FRIEND GET AIDS AND DIE that would make my life so much better

just a ? for the guy ragging on fags. how is a fag gonna give AIDS to a chick? if he's a fag would he actually have sex with chicks, i doubt it. i have friends that are gay, and i'm not into it, but none of them have sex with chicks, so how am i going to get AIDS from the girls that they don't have sex with? doesn't part of being a fag consist of not having sex with girls, b/c if you did that, then you wouldn't be a fag anymore, you would be bi. so maybe you're thinking is just a bit off. and i'm not meaning to offend anybody by the use of the word fag. i'm not saying it's a bad thing to be a fag, that's your decision, and if that's what you like, super for you.

Maybe you should change your name to "lookin4aclue" How about you taking alittle responsiblity and using protection if your going to be sleeping around, then maybe all the blame won't have to be with just the Girls.
