I have a 1992 Honda Prelude and I jsut bought a really nice pair of Boston Acoustic Rally Series 6 and 1/2 and the mounting depth in my car is 2 and 1/8 inches and the speakers are close to three inches in depth. Is there anything that Ican so to install these other than building kickpanels so that I dont have to sell them?

I had a similar problem with my RF components in my Acura. I took a 3/4 inch piece of wood and first cut a hole large enough for the speaker to fit in, then I cut to rest of that piece of wood into a circle so it looks like a wooden doughnut.
The wooden doughnut goes between the door and the Component and it fit just right in my car. I'm not sure what thickness of wood you would need, but its the best thing I can think of.
Good Luck Dude.
BTW... You'll need a drill and a Saber/Gig saw.
