My roommate is about to buy a system for his 94 prelude, and is on a very very tight budget, no more than around 300 for amp/subs. I told him you can get jacksh*t for that much, but w/e anyway....
Hes narrowed it down to 2 things:
1) Jensen 250x2 watt RMS amp w/ (2) Sony Explod 300 watt RMS 10s or 12s

Forget both of thoes options. If you buy it before decenber 24th you can get a RE SE series 12 for $127 shipped then get get a Lanzar Opti SL800D 800 watt amp from
on a buy it now for $159 shipped. thats a total of $286 then build a 2.5 cu ft ported enclosure tuned to 35hz I'd build it for the hatch of the integra with 3/4 MDF outside dimensions of 16" Height x 11.75" Deep and 33.5" Wide with a slot port 14.5 inches tall by 2" wide and 19" long that makes the box end up after port and driver displacement 2.546 cu ft and the tuning exactly 34.66HZ. Its a pretty simple box to build here are some great drawings of a simaler box and alot of good info
I'm not sure if you have built a box before but if you have not them here are some tips use a super high quality wood glue I only use Gorilla glue personally then use a #10 1 1/2 inch wood screw every 3" all preedrilled and I always countersink them because it looks alot better then when you have all but the last piece togather put a nice thick bead of silicone on all of the seems just to make sure. If you dont have the tools to do the cutting just make a cut list and have them cut it at home depot its 50 cents a cut my last box was 10 cuts so it was $5 extra over the MDF cost which is $20 for a sheet watch the dude cutting though and check all his measurements theres nothing more frustrating than the **** not fiting togather properly when you get home to assemble it then you'll need a bottle of gorilla glue go to http://www.gorillaglue.com and put in your zip to find where to buy it close. It's about $12 for an 8oz bottle which made me 3 boxes before it ran out. then you'll need a box of 100 #10 by 1 1/2 inch countersunk wood screws which I think was $1.49 at home depot last time. Last you have whatever you want to cover the box with you can use some Outdoor all pourpous carpet and try to stretch it over. Or what I usally do that turns out looking really cool and is tough and easy to do is I go to pep boys and get like cans of Dupli-Color Spray on bed liner and coat your box with that there $7.99 each at pep boys so now your looking at a total all togather of $340.50 for everthing you will need
This system will also blow away by a very larger deficit the other two systems you had mentioned you cannot go wrong this should be the only option he is even considering. Also if you dont want to build the Box I'm also in southern California in Anaheim I'll build the box for $75 and that includes me buying the materials thats only $35 for my time because I don't mind I enjoy dooing this stuff so call if you want the box built 310-908-3637 ask for fred. Sorry I would love to would be possible if shocker gave out there TS Paramiters but for some reason there the only speaker company in the world so paranoid of being ripped off that they won't give these out even to loyal customers its preaty rediculus
