I'm gonna make( or atleast try to make) a ported box for my new Fusion 15's. I want to give them about 2 cu ft apiece and tune the box to 30 htz. What dimensions do I need to make the box and the port? Also, which is better: slot-vented or a circular port? thanks in advance

most of the music i listen to gets very low, and i want it to sound good low. I'm willing to sacrifice a little spl for sq. Do you think it would sound better if i tuned it to something like 35htz?

If you want more sq, you need to tune it at 30Hz for more low end extention and less of a peak.... The 35Hz tuning will give you a higher peak, therefore resulting in steeper roll-off slopes and so It might not sound as good... just my 2 cenc, -Ben
