Would it be a good idea to use dynamat original for my trunk of dynamat premium? I can get 39 sq. ft. of original for around $145 which is a damn good deal, super is $69 for 12 sq. ft, and premium is $69 for 13sq. ft. Whic hwould be better to sound proof my trunk?

Personally, I would go with a spray applied product, but the regular mat should do fine.

If you want dampening, drive it into a lake or river! If you want to DAMP the rear end, dynamat will work, or a spray on seems to work better.

If it dont fit, force it... if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway...

to reduce the resonance on the rear deck, do I spray the stuff directly on the back of the cardboard deck or does the deck have to be fasten more rigidly?
