first off, id like to ask you to read my post in subs and enclosures also..

my lead installer suggested today that i take the bottom portion of my door panel off (1993 escort) and make a buildup for it... he said he did one for a buddy of his for a mustang
i think this would kick ass, i just really cant spend too much on this endeavor..
reason i need this is... i have a set of FNX1614 componets in these doors.. the magnet is huge, and i had to use grommets as spacers to put the 6.5s not to hit the window... well, this now pushes up against the panel itself and makes a annoying rattling noise.. not to mention i think im losing alot of bass response due to the gap.. but thats all i can think of right now..
so what would this door panel idea run me
again, anyone in or around the columbus area reply if youd like to do this one..
Ryan
sorry these damn things are so long.. but better than saying
i need door panels built........ right?
