WOW, I AM TRULY IMPRESSED ON HOW ALL OF YOU ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE WHEN IT COMES TO CAR AUDIO. THAT IS THE REASON I AM HOPING YOU CAN HELP ME OUT. I AM PLANNING ON BUILDING A STANDARD PORTED BOX FOR MY 97 CHYSLER SEBRING. THIS BOX IS FOR THE 2 PRO RF10'S AND ALL I NEED IS ABOUT A CUBIC FOOT OF AIR SPACE. LIKE A MAJORITY OF CARS, THE REAR SEATS FOLD DOWN, WHICH IS ON REASON I WANT TO HAVE MY SPEAKERS FACING INSIDE THE CAB. NOW I HAVE TO REMIND YOU, I AM A BONIFIDE AMATURE WHEN IT COMES TO CAR AUDIO, SO I AM CONFUSED WHEN SOMEONE RECOMMENDED I PUT PLEXIGLASS OR A BOARD IN FROM OF THE SPEAKERS? ALSO.. I WOULD LIKE TO ALSO RUN TWO PORTS FROM THE BOX TO THE REAR DECK (BELOW MY REAR VIEW WINDOW). THE PROBLEM WITH THIS IS I WILL HAVE SOME SPACE BETWEEN THE BOX AND THE REAR DECK, WITH THIS IN MIND, THE MANUAL SAYS I NEED TO HAVE A 13.25" PORT LENGHTH. WOULD THIS STILL APPLY IF ONLY HALF OF THE PORT WILL BE IN THE BOX? OK, ONE MORE QUESTION FOR ALL YOU PROFESSIONALS, HAVING THE SPEAKERS FACING THE FRONT.. IS THIS THE BEST IDEA OR SHOULD I FACE THEM TO THE TRUNK?.... THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

It doesn't matter if the port is in or out of the box. You just have to remember to subtract the displacement of the port it will be taking up in the box.
If you want to face the subs forward...you should just seal them into the cab of the car...since you have fold down rear seats.

I APOLOGIZE FOR THE QUESTION IN EVERY TOPIC... BACK TO THE SEALING QUESTION. HOW WOULD FO ABOUT DOING THIS. WOULD I JUST PLACE PLEXIGLASS OVER THE REAR SEAT OPENING?

A cool way to seal it would be to have a sort of double baffle type thing on the box.
Build the box so it fits really snug into the area...the angle of the seat and baffle would have to be the same.
then get a large piece of cardboard or something and put it behind the seat. Trace the path of the area behind the seat between the trunk and cab.
cut the cardboard and trace that design onto another piece of mdf. Cut it out in that design and cut 2 holes slightly bigger than the subs. Mount this piece onto the baffle of your sub box so the holes are right over the subs. You could stretch some of that grill cloth over this too if you like. Slide that into your trunk and mount the box down.
I think this would just look great. Might be a little tough to do though...hehe
