Hi, everybody! I have just bought a new 2002 Volvo V70 T5 and thinking of installing a good sound in it. Has anybody got experience with this car? The stock headunit that I would like to keep (HU-603) has some kind of line out - a twisted pair of wires without any screen. Balanced?? One installer said that I would need the line drivers to run the amp. The Volvo tech. info book says its a "low level line for external amp". What is it really?
Another Q regarding the speakers. I want to replace the stock drivers with Dynaudio 2 or 3 way with MW 160 midbass. Will they fit in the stock places? I really wouldn't like to open the door covers just to see that. If not then what will go in there without door rebuild.
Any other help or advise will be appreciated. Thank you

if it's the wagon we just cracked one open over the weekend. That is for the Dynaudio upgrade stereo along the lines of Bose.
the MW 160 will fit, becasue in the C70 that's what is the upgrade system

Thanks. How about the HU? Any ideas? I must know everything about it because it takes LOTS of work to take one out to see what is there on the back. Posts: 58 | From: Hämeenlinna, Finland | Registered: May 1999
