Well, as soon as I find where my brother disappeared to. He's got my camera in his vehicle as well as my next load of steel we picked up the other day still on his trailer. I wants to fabricate and upload pictures!!!
Brandon, will do buddy. I'm trying to get hold of the guy today to see about all that.

Ok, here's a couple more pics now that I'm back in the swing of things and completely over the flu.
I decided not to fabricate the recessed bolt cups in the door skin and instead just used big washers on the outside of the doors to clamp them shut. As far as I can figure, that's just a matter of cosmetics? At least I'm hoping anyway. I've seen vehicles with both styles so I'm hoping it really shouldn't matter.

Started filling in the edges with some steel plate. I ran out of daylight to work, but I'll be welding in some more bracing around the edges to stiffen it up even more. I'll end up with 4.5 square feet of windshield, so it works out well.
I still need to weld in the channels for the glass to sit in. When the frame is done, it'll weigh 110 pounds by itself. Not too bad.

Thanks guys. I'll have some more pics coming soon. After some 'consulting', I'm changing the windshield frame to something a little different though. May not look quite as clean as the three piece design but who cares. It's built to get loud, not win a car show with it's looks.
I spent the day welding up some various stuff and figuring out how much steel I still need. I'm gonna kick it into high gear here real soon as I've still got some body rot in the back over the rear window to deal with.
