Now that we are allowed to build custom door panels as well as custom panels in the back. are we allowed to paint out dashes yet? My car is black.. my leather seats are black..my back panels are black. my door panels are black.. my dash is a 88 shade of crap blue. I would like to make this look appealing if possible. any comments from judges?

I wasn't aware of aany rules, past or present, that would not allow you to paint your dash.

I am quite sure it's legal to "paint" your dash.

use a vinyl or plastic dye, then you wont have to worry about it.

I think they were refering to painting the dash the same as the car, in 2pack, making the dash a reflective surface within a jig length from the sensor.

Justin you can change the color of your dash all you want, but you can't smooth and fill it with bondo and then paint it shiny, the way that it is so popular in import cars. If it doesn't change any strength or smoothness other than color, its fine, but smoothing and painting is not allowed.
