3 or 4 different triples have happened since the WF, it would be nice to know who has which record and what the benchmark is to set a new WR.

Good point.
But there will also be some upset people because the Belgians were louder in Street A and B a week or two before.

The Records could be set at 3X events that started with the 2005 season. Some FINALS events have taken place after the 2004 season cutoff but are counted as 2004 events because they are Finals for the 2004 season. (The Greek Finals is just one example. The Belgian Finals also counts as a 2004 event.) Each country is instructed to try and host their Finals event prior to the World Finals. In some cases, this just cannot be done. Even so, Finals events that take place after the season cutoff date (even if the event is after the World Finals) still count as 2004 events.
To summerize, 3X events that took place after Sept 26 (I think that was the 2004 cutoff date) and that are NOT a "Finals" event, count as 2005 events.

The records that are currently displayed assume that there will not be any new restrictive rules in place. If a rules change occurs that is restrictive as compared to the existing rules, then that particular record will be removed.
For example... If we determine that Quads can be used in the Extreme division, then the existing records would not be affected because the rules change would result in a less restrictive judging criteria. On the other hand, if a new rule is implemented that limits the maximum size of woofers in the Extreme division to 8 inches, then the existing records for the Extreme classes would be nullified for those competitors who set records with woofers larger than 8 inches in diameter.
I don't expect many rules changes with the exception of Street Max. Street Max was intended as a division for Street Vehicles with more equipment and/or higher enclosures. This will be clearly defined shortly.
