can i face the subs upwards or rear in ss nw?

can the enclosure extend from behind the seats close to rear door?

the subs can face any way you want them to...they just have to be below the window line and behind the b-pillar

Enclosure can go anywhere behind the rear most part of the front door seal, commonly known as the B pillar, aslong as it stays below the lowest point of the front side windows.

Yes, exactly that.

Lower the windows, pull string through the car, out both windows and down onto the lowest point of the window seals.

The box and anything connected to it cannot come above that point

i had a small hatchback(opel corsa)without rear seats and i had built an enclosure of 150lt with an RCF 18" in it.it had the width of car and 50cm height.125cm wide.i remember when the sub was facing the rear window the sub was louder at lower frequencies under 50hz but when i turned front the bass was more punchy and accurate over 50hz but a lot less output under 50hz.i enjoyed much more facing back.

i never measured it so i don't know how this translates to db drag numbers.
