Actually the NW score was 159.9 at the final so the certified is 159.7dbs.But Yannis is using another car than the one he did 160.7 in June 2004.Surely the score will be quite better next year

Or the greek Street B did two times more then 154.9 and he has the WR .
This is getting funny . Why not keep the country finals count for the year they are in . Meaning after the WF , then the scores are still for 2004 , like its always been .

The Season 2004 ends with deh World Finals. Itīs really hard to say that a score after the finals is a World Record 2005, because nobody knows if the rules will be changed. If they will be changed, you cannot update a score in 2004 as a World Record in 2005! If there will be no rule-changes it think we should start 2005 with the same records ending 2004. Why deleting the World Records for 2005 when there are no rule-changings? World Records has been always deleted if the rules changed.
I say: let us wait what Wayne says. If the rules will be changed, the World Records will be played out for 2005 automatically!

world records.... everyone talks about them.
tell me this.
lets say in 2004 the record is say 170.1 in a given class.
and in 2005, the highest post in that same class is only 170.0
so, what happens with the world record. are they replaced each year? or does the guy from the previous year, maintain his status as record holder, until his record is broken.
in other words, or records, really records, or are they "yearly highs" ?

Yes Dbthanosfan as its true that i did a 159.7 and a 159.9 this weekened and it will go better next year as we discussed,its also true that it was with the new car that was built in a very short time. From what i know is that no WR can be set after the world finals are finished...

the 2004 season ended Sept 27 2004 the NEW 2005 season started ( for points ) Sept 28 2004 Usually Wayne doesn't start World Records untill the new season's rules are finallized. This year, Wayne has stated that no rules will be changed, mainly clarified. So what show / date will start the 2005 World Record season? I have no idea. I'm sure this will be up too Wayne. Will the Greek Finals count as 2004 or 2005 World Record? I have no idea. I'm sure this will also be up too Wayne. Those that are in violation with the new 2005 clarifications and have set a World Record might be in jepardy of loosing their World Record. I hope this information helps,

jason best score was actually a 160.9 on his second burp because the mic cable was jacked.then backed it upped immediately within 5 min with a 160.7.great score out of the greek guys.keep up the hard work.
