Just wondering when the records for 2005 season start ? Is it straight after World finals or start of next year ? Just interested as we have the first 3 point event in Aus in 2 weeks and would be nice to see Aus hold a world record albeit for a short period of time I would expect. Still be cool though Cheers

And apparently two more before that.
I still cant see how we can have 2005 WRs without 2005 rules though, it just doesnt make sense.

Youve already stated EX cabin rules are changing slightly.
Surely this will mean some cars will no longer be legal?

We were told any records set at Houston and Dallas would be voided since rules weren't set in stone yet.

So did Wayne already said that there are no rule-changes for season 2005?
Every record after WF will be a 2005 record now?

I made sure before I paid my $150 entry fee for this show that it was in fact for 2005 records... I drove 9 hours, spent $150 on registration, $700 on Shocker Sig 12's, $350 on Audio Que 12's, $80 in gas, $100 on food and entertainment, $70 on hotel, and missed 2 days of work and school because I wanted to have a chance at the record early in the year before the Euro's took it back. All in all I spent $1350 for a TRIPLE point event, that was more than I spent on my trip to DB Drag finals by far! My set-up was very legal for 2004 and is still BONE stock, nothing "grey" about my car at all! If this show would have not been for world records I would have simply gone along to help out my teamates who were doing USACi... and saved myself some much needed money as x-mas is only a few weeks away now and my bank account is in pain after that rather expensive world record.
Oh and the Street B record was set with amps that have been around for 4 seasons now and subs that have been around for at least two that I can recall. Zapco 9.0's and Shocker Sig 12's with the the 2002 450OZ magnet.
