well think about it? doug gets paid to do a dbdrag show, he gets paid to tell competitors to buy his subs. getting paid for publicity is freakin awesome. he has a good inside track on making his company bigger. why would he want some kids to mess that up? this is the only motivation i see.

i competed at one of his events, watched him tell all the competitors and their mother's about running and purchasing his subwoofers... sorry jacob, i do not see any other motivation for throwing dbdrag shows.

i do not hear ron trout talk about buying rf to each competitor, i do not hear him complain about turnout. i did not hear the audiobahn or kenwood dbdrags a few years ago talk about buying kenwood or audiobahn to every competitor. i do not hear jeremy or matt borgandt tell everyone to buy image dynamics, and i have never heard jeremy complain about turnouts on shows... he has always told me, he had alot of fun and he will continue to do it.
now all i heard was it was a sorry turnout, would you like to buy some woofers. but, i guess you had to have been there, or read some of the posts made on here saying those things.

I cant let this go on any further.. do you know what you are talking about Jarrod???? as I remember the only people I talk about my product with were People I knew From Termlab.. except for the one guy that owned a shop and I didn't talk to him till after the shows was complete.. the only thing I say about that shows was you and other people have chewed Wayne's ear off about getting shows down there then I work it out so I have one there 320 miles from my house I might add and there was only 6 cars.. now you tell me that you would drive 640 mile because people have been screaming there is a huge market in LA for dbDrag and you show up and only 6 cars show... and before you criticize my shows attend more then one.. now if Rob were to say something about my shows I would actually listed.. he has attended more then one and would have a true critic.. and for another thing what would my Income have to do with anything??? and BTW I make no where near 6 Figures.. and every pennny I get I worked for so dont try and down grade me for working hard in life instead of asking for freebees everywhere later Doug

actually quite a few people have complained about the company promotion. i talked with jaffe about it, told him i thought there was something wrong with it, he said that others have said the same thing. basically you are just making my point for me, you just said it yourself "now you tell me that you would drive 640 mile because people have been screaming there is a huge market in LA for dbDrag and you show up and only 6 cars show" you don't see it worth your time from these comments themselves. i am trying to get our own judge, who does not see these as futile attempts to get southern california into dbdrag once again. your words have shown your position on this. if you are not willing to come down, besides in the middle of the year, where everyone who wants to go to finals has found some other way to get their points, then we should have our own judge.

due to the fact that I am over 300 miles away I need help from you guys to tell shops you want shows.. as far as the price I cant do anyhting about that like I said I dont see any of that money.. I only get entries.. but if you guys get a shop for me to do a show at I will give the person who gets the shop a free entry.. just need you guys to get shop to call me or contact me through e-mail later doug

jeremy, dan, jesse, bailbonds, hell alot of people if it can be promoted correctly... but again, i do not want someone stinking up the place complaining about the number of competitors who come out, i think it would be a waste of time for someone to drive 600 miles to do a show and resent doing that. i have no problem with you, just some things that need changed in your judging approach.
being honest, do you really want all this trouble down in southern california. traveling, might have some bad shows, etc... i just assume it be easier for someone down here, that knows the area, that knows the people, to do the shows.

it is just too easy to go to oklahoma showdown to get all or most of your points, instead of waiting the friday before that weekend to get a show up at a shop for sure on the calender.

if you just want to go to Ok anyway and dont want shows in your back yard then dont B1tch.. now the only reason I was disappointed was that all the peopel that called Wayne and none of them showed.. the reason the show wasnt on the calendar was the place putting on the show would not pay ASP wich I have no control over later Doug

but that happened at other shows as well, i rarely see shows pop up for a weekend with 2 days in advanced in other areas, so why did it happen so much here. why wouldn't i want to take care of all my points in oklahoma? bam 1 trip, all done, its on the calender way ahead of time. also done by the best dbdrag judge. like i said, changes need to be made.

Doug, Jared DOES NOT speak for any of the so cal competitors. we all thank you for the hard work you have put in trying to get shows down here(jared has no idea how hard it is). but apparently you do...jacob you have absolutely no idea what i am talking about with this conversation. these are all very legitamate concerns for shows done down here. if you do not like it, then say you do not, don't speak for everyone down here. there is absolutely nothing wrong with anything i have said so far, infact i have had 3 people out of 3 people i have asked already tell me this is exactly what they would want changed. you have alot of opinions for someone who has never been to one of his shows.
