Just wondering when the shows in the NW will be starting....Oregon and Washington to be exact. Cali has the shows lit up every weekend till finals...where are the shops out here in oregon?? There were a bunch in the summer last year...but not sure about right now why there aren't any starting up. Hopefully something will start up soon. Anyone on this forum even FROM Oregon or a resident in Oregon/Washington? I know of a couple people butttttttt not many

Bryan, it's cool you actually talked to someone about the CarToys comps. I was getting a little worried there. Then I also noticed that their website says "2002 Competition Schedule Coming Soon...."

Nothing but truth here. That would be sweet if you could run some shows up here. If you need any help, let me know!

Some cretin named "Trouble" deleted this post of mine. Apparently, he just could not bear the truth. Not surprising this. Most street boom car boys know that they are doing wrong, but they are intrinsically cowards who can not shoulder their guilt. "Trouble's" illegal deletion maneuver was logged. If he does it again, I'm going to have him bounced off the boards permanently. You can bank on it.

I am a reformed boom car boy. I lived in California and outfitted my Camaro with $3500+ worth of pure throbbing bass. I "worked" the streets with my bass especially in the wee hours of the night. Days, too, on my day off. By that I mean, I got real pleasure in knowing that I was waking people up or making the babies cry or killing "family" hour. Hah! What did I care? My object was to get noticed with my flashy car. And didn't I spend three grand on the beast from 20,000 dB(stenciled proudly on my rig)!! No one was going to tell me what I couldn't do! In fact I had a bumper sticker that said, "If you tell me NO, I'll do it." I made a lot of folks madder than hell and i was glad of it. I thought I was too cool. Hey, I wore the wrap around shades and I stoked the "beast"! Yeah, right. I was 28 years old and acting like a pukehead punk ignoramus who wouldn't listen to nobody. Just like a lot of you guys. Don't tell me it's legitimate sport. I used to defend it that way, too. And I knew that was bunk and you do also. If it's a legitimate sport why are there laws against it practically everywhere you go. Get real. The only way we got away with it is because those laws are hard to enforce.
Well, now I've got tinntinitis- a permanent ringing in my ears. And it's a real bad case. You have no idea how bad unless you get it. Now I understand that what I was doing was just plain wrong and selfish. And I am paying the price. But what really bothers me even more is the harm and distress that I caused wherever I went blasting and booming like there was no tomorrow. Blasting and booming away like some idiot. Adding big time to all the noise out there and stressing people out, little kids and babies too.
A lot of the people here remind me of the way I used to be and it's sad to see it. You'll pay the price for being selfish and unneighborly too. Maybe not now or tomorrow but all this aggravation and harm and hate you are causing will come back to you. It'll come back to haunt you. That's a sure bet. I just hope you see how mindless and belligerent it is to spend one's life making noise-- before it's too late.

yeah dumbass.....that "cretin" trouble is a moderator assigned by wayne harris(ummm..the owner of this website). as a moderator, he is expected to delete and/or edit worthless posts that take up bandwidth that could be put to better use. so i don't think you could actually "have him bounced off the boards permanantly" for any illegal action, as there WAS NO illegal action. later.

Ummmm....ok, sorry about your..."illness". I do this for fun, not as a dumbass to be "noticed". I have met a lot of friends dbdraging, and its fun as hell getting to help friends out (and being helped as Bryan did early in the season!) Its cool to see the loudest for that one "burp". Or sometimes just playing your favorite song and seeing what it hits for the hell of it! So one question...Why the hell are you on my post? You concern this...how? You're probably that guy who wrote the long post on "boom cars" on an AOL webpage that we've all read and despised. I am hoping moderators will take care of you as you have NO relavence. I was actually looking for an answer from the MAN (who you cannot kick off the forum as it is his forum LMAO!) Too funny bro. Anyways, get off my posts, or i'll have my buddies block your IP from the forum.
Have a nice day.
So where is Brian Twigg or Mr. Harris when ya need them??
