We now have a handfull of vehicles doing 174DB's and the Termpro System / mics say they measure to 175DB. What happens when people are doing 175DB+ do the scores not count, or are they given 175DB as a maximum score even if they go louder or are the mics/ Termpro system going to be upgraded ?

The mics will read over 175, but to my knowledge they won't be as accurate as below 175. This is why Wayne is working on something new!

Our TP came with the 175 dB mics and if you go over 175 on ours at least you will get +++.+ in green, then it kicks to red, then back to green. We did it a couple of times last summer when our Memphis Rep was at the shop. Makes ya wonder, doesnt it.

I wanna know how to tell if your mic is 175 or 180? I bought mine in October last year... And by the way it still says 175 dB in the "online store"...
