Just as the topic states and if they do will we the competitors have the choice of having the mic set up in our cars on a mic stand or with a suction cup on the windshield?? I'll bring my own if the event promoter does not have one! I just think they are less intrusive than the stands. And they are obviously easier to get them to bounce off your windshield! Does anyone else like the suction cup idea like was used a finals?
I wonder if the glass vibrates under 80Hz? Just a thought

The world records set at finals were for the 2001 season. There are no world records right now. The first ones will be set at South Padre Island, TX March 2-3.
I think the suction cups should be used for extreme cars only because they have much less windshield flex.
