Just curious on how to get more comps in my area. Just go talk to the owner of a shop and see if that intersests him.
Also what are some Pro's and Con's to the owner for having a comp at his shop. Thanks

hey there, some tips that worked for me are the following... first, get to know the promoter in your area, or talk to your local shop and see if they would be interested in joining the db drag assn.Try cohosting an event and most of all get involved ! know the rules in and out front and back. get your name out there and even if your part of a shop visit others and offer assistance. you would be surprised at the responce you get. my first show was promoted by Jim Hensle of Under ground Auto sound, just by particapating in the 50 some odd shows(some were not santioned) we drew a wopping 43 competiters and around 150 other guest including the local news papers so try your best and i can tell your hard work will pay off, i cant waight to do my second show "Thunder in the valley" the 2cd annual hoped to be bigger and better good luck and email me if ya have to - jeff
