Does the box have to be below the back trim? All the windows in the focus are on the same plane, so does the box have to be below that? What if the sub is inverted, does it have to remain below the botton of the windows too?

Everything connected to the box or touching the box must remain below the window.

Per 2001 Rules....Before doing anything I would recommend waiting for the 2002 rules to come out if you plan on competing.
Well I think with this system I will just build it the way I want to. If I'm in NW that's ok, if I get pushed into wall class oh well... I dont want to put off my system for like 2 months just to wait for the 2002 rules to come out.

I really don't think the box "height" rule will change. It looks more like the rulings on how far forward the enclosure can be in certain vehicles will be the main issue.
Hopefully we'll see something real soon as my wife is starting to move things into my garage now that theres no work being performed on our vehicles

hehe. This would be in referance to all Mini-vans? I think the ruling there should be side sliding door jambs and back. It's cool those vans are good like that, I knew that for almost 3 years. Making that rule would make everyone with a caravan, astro, ect. replan their setup. Sorry guys, just saying what i feel is right.

In ssnw class the box cannot go past the front doorjambs so the new rule on box position will only affect street class not no wall class.

EXACTLY!! Thats why in our "Astro van" we'll be running the box right up on the jambs like last year. It looks as if your in a van of any type your going to have to move to Super Street or put your enclosure all the way in the back. Only time and new rules will tell.
