I plan on entering street 1-2 this year and cant decide which 12" subs to go with. Either Punch HX2's, Shiva's, or Bluprint Drivers. They will be in a ported box ran off of a D2 amp. Let me know soon I plan on picking up the subs tomorrow.

there are many options, i am biased towards shocker audio, the super series would be killer. DD9512's are very nice also. Ive heard good things about the L7's in street cars.

Shockers are not louder in street. The vechile\ setup was . . . . Also a 4000 watt amp helped. Look any subs with the right setup can do high numbers. Look at my team member Mike Skarika with L7's doing high 156's. How about bradsoid pulling high 156's with image (never got a chance to show what he had). You dont need 1000+ woofers to do high numbers. . . Its all in the install/ car. good luck.

if not louder then why 5 out of 8 qualified with shockers ? and the only reason your buddy mike got 156 is becuase he switched amps.earthquake was right there repairing amps faster than a rabbit gets f---- but mike just happened to find a 4kw in brandsoys trunk? and brandsoy ? he shouldve known better not to put that big ass 4kw behind his drivers seat that **** was so odvious!its all in the install? you are right in SOME cases but not all. i was running a 9.0 and elipse titaniums all year 153.4 cert. at finals i installed a USED d2 and a pair of USED shocker exremes 154.7 its all in the install???? another point is that all the crx's exp's had very similar installs, woofers rear of the box firing up and ports facin rear at bottom.with all those similar installs why did they have different scores???? DIFF EQUIPMENT!
