Ive noticed alot of new people to the forum... WELCOME!!
I thought to help out the "newbies" and the "veterans" I would post something here about us moderators. I suggest the other moderators (from any part of the forum) to post here as well.
If your from another part of the forum please put what section, to make it easier on others.
My name is Luin Haden (moderator in "dB Drag Racing" forum), im 23 years old and have been part of db drag since 98 (traveled to shows with Team Pure Sound), I became a member of db drag in 2000 and renewed in 2001 and plan on once again being a member for 2002. I have been a car audio nut for many many years infact it has become a "part-time job" (once again with Pure Sound). I really became interested in dB Drag last year when I was competing and became a "rule nut".
Im very easy going and look for a long relationship.... whoops sorry wrong website

Hello to all of the new and old members of the board.
I'm Tara Plemmons, AKA Queen Tara, QT, Drag Queen, or DQ....depends on when you've been around what you know me as. 2002 will be my sixth year of involvement with dB Drag. I've competed in and promoted shows in the midwest area, but for at least a while I will just be spectating. I'm 20 years old..but I will finally be 21 on December 5. Not that I drink anyway, just something I don't participate in. I have two beautiful daughters, Keira (26 months) and Korinne (9 months) who I absolutely adore. Favorite part about car audio would have to be the people I meet and get to spend time with. Guess that's about it....
-------------------- Yep, I'm back. Kicked some bad "habits" and ready to resume the life I want to lead!

I go to skewl full time at DeVry and work as a Supervisor at Nancys Pizza here in Tinley Park. I have 2 brothers both younger and 2 sisters 1 younger and 1 older. And I live at home

Hello... my name is Brian Obara and I have been involved in car audio for 13 years now, and have been involved in quite a few records during that time. I'm Krisa, I've been into car audio for just at two years. I am engaged to Chris, a wonderful guy who got me into this mess (bought me my first subs and amp for christmas two years ago), he's also a termpro mod - Xtreme Honda and has been into car audio for 14 years. We don't have children together (8-year-old from first marraige, already wants her own system to bump like daddy), just kitties (three).
We live in Orlando, Fla (makes SBN an easy trip, but finals is a haul).
We're in our late 20s (ok, who am I kidding, we're fighting off 30). I compete SQ, and co-pilot his SPL street 1-2 vehicle. We're both certified IASCA SQ judges, and help when needed at drag shows (right QuadZ? ). I placed 10th in pro 601+ at IASCA finals and zone points champ in Zone 12 (Florida) in a class of seven (fun beating the long-time SQ boys hehe).
I write part-time (to pay for my car-audio habit) for industry media. We are founding members of Driven By Sound, and part-owners of caraudioanswers.com. We also volunteer as moderators on another forum and chat that shall remain nameless as I don't want to be stoned by my fellow termpro mods.

Hello, my name is Sid Grice (obvious). I am 37 years young. I have been married to a wonderful woman (Lottie) for 10 years. I live in Northeast Louisiana (Monroe), but was born and raised in another town called Shreveport (100 miles west of Monroe).
I am an Ex-Marine, who is proud to live in a country that is fortunate to allow me freedom. The debt owed to those who fought for this priviledge, may never be repaid, but will never be forgotten either. I am an AMERICAN. Besides being proud of my country, I am pround of my heritage. I am redneck by faith, and a southerner by the grace of God. I try to honor my ancestors by living a honest and respectable living. I enjoy the simple life, but sometimes I like to walk on the "upper society" way of living, just for a good laugh. I believe that there is good in many people, and I tend to trust others until they prove me wrong.
I became "hooked" into car audio in 1980, and have grown to enjoy the SPL competition scene. From the first time I had enough money to buy my first amplifier, my life has been filled with both joy and dissapointments caused by Stereo competitions. I do not have the drive to win at every event, but I enjoy the opportunity to compete against friendly competitors. Just as many others, people seldom enjoy losing a battle, but I have grown to accept the thought that for every winner, there must be a loser, and I have no problem seeing someone else win. My life is full, and the audio is only a hobby, not a way of life for me.
My most proudest moment in life, was the day I said "I DO", and became united with a wonderful lady (see above). She is my foundation, my rock, my everything. Words can not express the true aspects of my feeling, but she is the greatest thing to happen to this "old man".
As for the forum, I am a moderator in the "General Audio" section. I try to be fair to each and every member, even if I do not agree with their opinions. I believe that we moderators are here to "keep the peace", and not to "force" our opinions on others. I do make mistakes, and I welcome any memeber to correct me if they find fault in any of my decisions. I am not so "hung up" on having the last word, and if I have done something to offend other, I respect those who "call me out" to offer thier point of view. I have a twisted sense of humor, but try to keep it as freindly as possible. (just come to chat to learn more). I try to assist others when I can, and learn from others when I lack the knowledge to help.
There are so many aspects of my life, and all is worthy of talking about, but I think I have rambled long enough. Thank you for reading this, and I hope that I have included enough information to allow a common internet bond between myself and other members of this forum.

My Name is Kyle Loftis, and I'm a computer addict... oh wait, flash backs from last night... heheheheh
anyway, I'm the one who will be closing and deleting your post between the hours of 4AM and 2AM that's about all the sleep I allow myself to get
Anyway, on a more serious note, I've been on termpro since the day the new forum opened (this one) and have racked up a few posts, most of them are just for fun, but I try and help people on here when I can. If I make fun of you for some reason, dont take it seriously, unless you're Iggster
I'm going to school at UNOmaha AKA Univesity of No Opportunity and I'm majoring in MIS. I've been competing for three years now and I think I'm about worn out, I've really enjoyed all the people I've met and without this board I wouldn't have stayed in the sport, that's for sure!
If you guys need any help or questions about the forum, let me know ZANNYCAT@Aol.com
All I do all day is sit in my dorm (computer science and engineering honors dorms) at UNO and stare at the computer screen.

My name is Chris Church. I am a 2 year professional audio installer part time and a full time Computer Tech student at Nashville State Technical Institute. I am 25 with a birthday coming on the 25th of this month, and I have been into car audio in some form since at least age 14. Subwoofer enclosures are my favorite study that I am quite passionate about, and I am a moderator there as well as in Troubleshooting. I also am a moderator on the Shocker forum and db Don's forum. I try to run this forum as Wayne wants it but I also try to give members as much leeway as possible to debate and discuss things. The only things I will not tolerate are people being disrespectful of each other and anything disrespectful of the forum, such as product bashing or indecent material(Glad there arent a lot of nekkid pictures in Subs and Troubleshhoting ).. I am a former USAC state SPL record holder and have yet to compete in my first db Drag due to money issues, which should change this year. I have been to many shows though, and will help anyone in any way possible, including test metering and building slam dunk boxes at events . I enjoy helping people in any way possible and will do my best if asked for assistance. And I also have a little "different" sense of humor (also come see in chat) but I am very easy to get along with..

Ha, Jeff! Come on, tell us about yourself and inform those of us who haven't talked to you for so long about how and what you've been doing lately. I know I've been a bit of a stranger lately as well, it's not intentional, but trying to find a job in a small town isn't an easy task.
Sorry I haven't been in chat for so long, I miss talking to my fellow drag cronies and can't wait until I get my schedule straightened out enough to be able to pop in and say hi. I miss you guys

I compete in the Street 3-4 class with my 94 Ford Ranger 4x4 extended cab truck in the spring/summer, and enjoy fencing during Michigan's much too long winter.

My name is Paul Smyth. I have been competing for 6 or 7 years, although I took the last year off I will be competing this year. I will finally unveil that is beneath that blob....
I have always sold home and car audio, but my sabbatical from dbDrag Racing also coincides with my taking a management job with Rogers AT&T. So now that I have finally given up on working 6 days a week 10 hours a day, I have decided to take my weekends off and compete again. My neighbours don't like my decision though, since it smells badly of fibreglass around my place.
Anyhow, I will see you guys in the lanes next year.

I have two degrees- a BS in Biochemistry and a BA in Philosophy...Work as a lab tech/analytical chemist, but thinking about getting into car audio as a profession.
What else? I think that I'm the only SQ member in Sick Bastards Audio...and as much cutting, working on, and putting stuff in my car, it fits.
I'm also on helluva a guy too- just ask me...j/k...seriously.
Stop on by the SQ section sometime...
