concerning the jellis show in ohio next weekend april 28th. the registration will start at 11am. qualifying shortly after. it looks as if we should have close to 30 cars right now. entry fee is $30 dollars. it is held at a place called skips trail depot in sr 83 a few miles north of millersburg. all competitors get a free lunch at skips. the show is about an hour drive from canton, akron, mansfield, and ashland. we will have trophies for first and second. we may do 1st 2nd and 3rd trophies in the future dependant on our turn out. the show should run very smooth and the competition area is great. we have a little idea for repeat competitors. we will be awarding $100 and a 4ft trophy to the competitor who has the highest average spl over our six shows this year. if you miss one show you probably won't have a chance at winning it. the average is divisible by six. it should be a nice show hope to see you there. you can ask questions here or call us at 330 674 3611. if you plan on coming please let us know.

for all of you senior ohio area competitors, do you guys remember the soundwaves shows? they held shows all summer, then, they held finals show towards the end of the points qualifing season. this show was for BIG cash money prizes. and i do mean BIG. if i remember right, first place took $1000 cash money, and second/third place took home a respectable amount of cash too! and, not just anyone could compete in the final show. you had to have either a certain amount of "soundwaves points", or, you needed to have posted a certain score minimum at a soundwaves show. either way, i competed in the final show in '99. and i have to say, big money shows attract ALOT OF SERIOUS COMPETITORS! i do believe that show had about the highest level of adrenaline and testosterone flying around than any other show i have attended (next to finals). i feel it would be in everyones best intrest if a sigle shop, or group of shops, bing this level of competition back to our state. lemme know what you all think.
