Cool dude! Thanks for the pics. I'm glad to finally see someone other than myself post pics of one of our local shows!

One complaint about the show however:
If someone puts on a dB Drag event...THEY SHOULD AT LEAST USE A MIC JIG!!

Other than that and having to pull into the lane to be judged and then BACK your car out of the lane, the event went well and I thank Cobb for presenting us the opportunity for some points!! (even if it was on a Saturday!)

My only complaint about he show is that it cost $10 per person to get in. Another $5 just so I could pull my truck into the area where the show was being held then another $20 for the drag. Then you had the $5 hamburger, the $2.50 larger fried (smaller than a biggie fry). I'm just glad I brought my own drinks and that I atleast got some points. And my first trophy of the season

Yeah Craig, I forgot about the money but the website did say a $30 entry fee. So I only paid $5 more pluse the $10 to get my brother in but he's a big guy so...

They had trophies?!?!? haha

BTW, thanks for the drink!

Kickercar, they did bump at least one SS car to Extreme for his MDF headliner. I usually don't pay too much attention to that kind of thing since I'd need more subs to get bumped anywhere. Could get DQ'd though I suppose if we weren't within the rules.

Actually, the guy told them that he had a mod in his truck. I had a good time and the turnout was huge. I like how they combined the car show, db drag, and drag racing all into ONE show.

Kickercar, what kind of car do you have?

well i use my 98 escort to compete in,but i fryed my head unit. and i put my system in my friends dark blue s-10, in the parking lot.we were the two guys testing test tones in the back close to your car we were trying to find the tone that sounded the loudest.we should have been in the 142 maybe 3's but he only had 8 gauge wire and no cap. well we tryed i guess we were the only one woofer car in street so i was happy on what we hit.

I was looking at the results for this event and noticed or it appears that the x 1-2 and x 3-4 results are switched unless Larry Benton, Paul Nelson, and Julius Timmons have switched classes.. But who knows what is going on

Kara...actually Larry should be listed as extreme 1-2 with Paul in second place. And Julius should be listed as Extreme 3-4.

Kara, I noticed that also. Larry did show up with 2 subs but Julius and myself got switched somehow. I'm gonna see if I can get it fixed by submitting missing results and/or email.

LOL....well kara you know how it is...It doesn't look good for two team members to be fighting it out against each other. It always looks better number wise when you have team members in each of the classes trying to take first. Imagine what the hype would be if one manufacor were to take a first in all of the classes at finals or even a big triple point show.

We'll have to see about that. Larry said he wants a piece of Cook. Since he beat Larry last year and Larry said that Cook has "never been beat"(???).
