Topic: rules at Padre...... att: Wayne
Im not sure how true this is but i've heard that there was some additions/clarifications/changes to the 2001 dB Drag Racing rules at the 3x show in Padre. Is this true?
If so could you please report these additions/clarifications/changes to the 2001 dB Drag Racing rules?
Thanks, Luin

Nothing dramatic. I will be putting something tonight or tomorrow.Things like...
A volkswagen bug doesn't have 4 sq ft. of windshield to begin with. Therefore, we revert to 80% rule for vehicles where the OEM windshield fails the 4 sq ft rule.
A few other minor things. Nothing big.

OK, I'm about a week away from buying new batteries for my street 3-4 vehicle... So I kinda need to see these new additions/clarifications/changes ASAP..Anyone know why these changes are being made now and why they werent in the competitor handbook/rulebook? I'm not complaining or bashing or whatever.. Its just that this is kinda holding things up for me right now and I'm curious as to why changes are being made, thats all.
Thanks.

OK, Enlighten us on the "clarifications"

Reason: I am not empowered to make final ruling and two sets of anything only asks for trouble.
They are NOT finalized until you hear it from Wayne or have it ruled upon at a 3x show.
Sorry Guys & Girls
