I know this is directed at me because I have put input into the street class this season so I will tell you now. If I feel the need to put my $.02 in then I will do it. Membership packets won't ship until after Jan. so why should I pay RIGHT NOW? If you don't run street anyway then what does your opinion matter? Oh you say it does! Well mine does too.

What if I told you I had 4 memphis mojos, 2 SP1700's, 4 DD 12's, a buttload of wire, and a crx, then would my opinion matter?

I was just kidding around, however, for $300 I could have a crx, and we have the rest of that stuff just laying around Also, the probe is going bye-bye, I'm gettin a truck so I can tow around a big-ole heavy caravan that eats windshields!

I don't compete, or at least not on a level as many others do. If my interest in the betterment of dB Drags, should I remain quiet? If I pay my memebeship dues, should I not have a voice? Does ones score, or amount of event attended, dictate their ability to speak openly? If so, will someone email me when all the "real" competitors have come to a conclusion of what they believe is best. Afterall, since I have not competed much, my opinions may be bias...unlike some people who have been fortunate enought to attend more shows than I.

Right on Sid!! How do you get NEW members if only the seasoned pro's could do anything meaningful to contribute to the sport. I WILL compete in Street A this year. I full intended to last year and had my equipment but felt like I would not have made a mark so I but my head to the grinding stone and feel I will be noticed now that I took a full year to prepare! This will be what I run this year Street A.

I believe if you have a membership you should have a voice, that's why i said put up a stats page link. It will only work for you if you are a member. I'm just saying this because it keeps the keyboard commandos away.

As long as you have competed in one event you will have a stats page....that is enough....just a link to that will sufice wont it?? 99% of those who will come in here and post have at least one event under their belt.....

You have competed right? If you've gone to at least one show you've got a stats page. Placing such a link in your sig will only add more weight to your arguement and wont hurt. Also you have a stats page weather or not you are a member.

You are correct, but you can't get the button without a membership, that was more what i was referring to.

I have only been on this site for several months and there are no dbDrag events in Arkansas. So no I have never competed in dbDrag. I did take my Cavi to a shop and did a 147 with a CMPx2 15 and a crossfire 1000d on an AC mic car off, shut and mic on the dash. I am 24 and not a keyboard cammando. If I have to buy my membership NOW to suffice I will but I will have my voice heard! Weak people who bow down under pressure only make a weak organization. You will find no weakness in me! I am very helpful too. I just need some more people like HCCAfan who have faith in newb's to the sport. I don't even think he competes in dbDrag right now and he has been 1000x more helpful than anyone else I have met since my arrival here at Termpro. Don't push out the newbs people. We may just be some of the best!

REALLY? Who is that? I can't find a comp here anywhere and I don't think there were any this past season either. There are some serious USAC compeditors here but no dbDrag. Todd's Car Audio in Benton rocks and Todd's truck is 10 time world finalist. Auto Audio here in Little Rock has won a few world titles. Sound Ideaz is one of the best shops I have ever been in and I think I talked them into going dbDrag this year but I see no events scheduled by them. I called them and even offered to pay them the $300 for dbsteve to host it and the $100 for their membership but they had obligations to USAC and said that they would do dbDrag as soon as they moved locations.

Well guys like me you'll probably never see but I hope we're heard. I love Dbdrag but I don't see myself doing more then the local thing.

Not true.. I've competed but I don't have a stats page.
I was at the August 31st show in Rockland, Ontario. They only posted the top 3 results in each class.
btw, they didn't exactly follow dbDrag rules so I was competing in street "A" against guys with 2 15"s in a fully sponsored shop vehicle. They didn't call it street A though it was just the "1-2 sub class" If you check the results page for that event you'll see there were only SS vehicles at that comp

That's a lot of trouble. I mean, I didn't place very well (wiring problem) so do I really want to go through the trouble just so I can have a say in the rules?

Not to have an attitude about anything but I feel that we can't expect anyone to take us seriously until we show that we take our sport seriously.
I think that I would take someones ideas a bit easier if they did take the time to post their scores. I think that you can post your scores in the same time it takes to reply to a post in the forum.
