Have you ever played with either subs? Didn't think so. So how are you going to tell him which would be louder than the other when you have no idea?

I currently have 4 SXs and I've used a pair of L7s before. Though they were the first L7s, not the newer ones. My gut tells me the L7s would probably be louder, but I like how the SXs sound compared to the L7s.

Why are you all upset? I just said yes to get him something he wanted to hear. I really wasnt giving sound advice when people want to hear something they look for info not simple yes or nos. Comeon now.

Edit: and i have played with some L7s so its obvious you dont know me as well as you think [Smile] good day

Im not upset. I am just stating facts. Your giving the kid uneducated advice about something in which you have no experience in doing side by side testing and comparison. Besides he might be louder with either one. It all depends on his build.

We have 2 SX 15 in a Ext Cab S-10 that does a 150.2db on TL and we have a friend that has 2 L7 "15" that does a 150.1db on Tl, he is in a CRX. About the same amount of power. They both work well!! I know I have seen the L7 move some air so to speak. I'm not sure but can you recone the L7's? that maybe something you want to think about.

Actually they are KX series amplifiers, not ZX. BTW, FS ads are not allowed here. If you want to try to sell his amps for him, maybe it would be wise to keep it to PMs. ty

You can recone SX's almost just as easy as an MT. I have used L7's and SX's and while I think the L7's would be louder, it would not be by much, if any. BUT, the L7's sound like butt while the SX's sound great and get loud. I would def go with the SX's IMO.

Sorry was not trying to sell any amps just letting people know that there are some floating around. I have nothing to do with the amps! But I will keep your thoughts in Mind!
