GotD@mnit!!!!!!!! i did it already. who can repair an SS 6500 in the GA area? let me know i have a pic of the damage!

CONGRATS!!!! I say that cause these amps are VERY difficult to damage. I have been messing with them for over 2 years and have only had 2 fatalities. I believe these where caused by a junk batt running the 12V side of things.

Where was the gain set? What where you using for batts? Size of cable?

SS has great warranty. Shouldn't be a big issue. OR maybe it will be...LOL WHERE did you get it?

yes way and it was an dumb mistake. damn alan screw fell inside the amp and touched and POOF!!!

i would like to know where to get my soundstream pca 3500d fix to? evertime i put power to the amp it go in to protect mode and the it sound like me subs r get to much power cause the cone of the sub woofer r moving.

i blow 2 mofsets. damn allen screw touched inside the amp while i was wanging. should be an easy fix. the amp comes on still and it actually plays like on volume 1 or 2 anything above that it goes into protect! took it apart and found 2 mofsets gone along with the damn allen screw burnt to hell!

if yall let me explain before u jump to conclusion anyway thats totally irrelevant to my question anyway. id rather for someone reply to my topic " ON topic" than to ask B/S questions. it was an mistake and the dang amp wasn open while it was waning in the first place. and if u knew an soundstream 6500 ud know its not totally sealed like most amps.
