CONGRATS!!!! I say that cause these amps are VERY difficult to damage. I have been messing with them for over 2 years and have only had 2 fatalities. I believe these where caused by a junk batt running the 12V side of things.
Where was the gain set? What where you using for batts? Size of cable?
SS has great warranty. Shouldn't be a big issue. OR maybe it will be...LOL WHERE did you get it?

i blow 2 mofsets. damn allen screw touched inside the amp while i was wanging. should be an easy fix. the amp comes on still and it actually plays like on volume 1 or 2 anything above that it goes into protect! took it apart and found 2 mofsets gone along with the damn allen screw burnt to hell!

if yall let me explain before u jump to conclusion anyway thats totally irrelevant to my question anyway. id rather for someone reply to my topic " ON topic" than to ask B/S questions. it was an mistake and the dang amp wasn open while it was waning in the first place. and if u knew an soundstream 6500 ud know its not totally sealed like most amps.
