start buying batteries and an alternator or two. you still got the tahoe. you may want dual alts. Welcome to the big power current hungry amp club

I want to see you drive around pounding 2 of them full tilt. I see NO reason that you would even NEED 2 of them.
One properly fed should be more than enough to push to "uncomfortable" levels.
I recently threw one of mine in a 97 Grand Cherokee on a TSNS 18 in about 6 cubes tuned to 33. I could barely handle 2 full songs. It was overwhelming. I wanted to throw the other woofer and another amp in but the owner declined in fear of it damaging his jeep.
I think they are a great amp. I did not like the #s we got out of them in out street cars but for a daily driver I thought it was great. We had 1 Walmart D.C. batt under the hood and an Eagle Pitcher in the back. It seemed to do fine as far as lights dimming and whatnot. Could not sit in it long enough to see if it got hot so we full tilted it and stood outside and watched quarters take off from the roof. They almost hit the ceiling in the garage (about 3 foot) After the cops came (1/2 hour later) we turned it off and checked the amp and sub. Niether were hot.

Of course you don't NEED 2, but you know you gotta do it.....3 alts, 6 batts, 2 amps and 2 subs should do it in the TAhoe...Ahhhhhhhhhhh

A fella just south of me tested one of mine against his Orion 2500D and it was only three tenths louder. Granted imp. were not optimal for the SS but still in a street scenario they leave some to be desired. Hence the reason that SS offers a regulated 3500D. Which is supposed to beat the 6500 by a pretty good margin even thogh its rated at 3K LESS.
6500s will not start hitting decent #s till you start feeding them. You have to understand the draw factor here. I have seen amp draw #s close to 800 amps for a single 6500d. This was on 18 volts. But also saw WELL over 7K out of one. Highest I have gotten out of 1 was 7800 watts. I'm sure more is possible beings that they seem to work allright with 20 volts going in.
I wanna see you take 2 full songs at full tilt with 2 properly fed amps and 2 18s. I think that may be considered a mild form of torture.
