yeah,I know its crazy someone wants a DD without nav/dvd.

Im looking for a pioneer since I got all the pioneer stuff allready (ipod,xm,aux, etc)but the only double din's they offer are DVD/NAV and the ony that doenst have it looks ugly to me....and wtf A tape player???

My XM can be switched with another headunits inputs( I forget the number but the Terk that does most aftermarket radios) The Ipod adapter I guess I can buy but would like not to.

Im looking to spend $500ish any ideas?? Maybe Pioneer has a better looking non DVD/NAV next year?

i paid 700bucks for my alpine double din dvd.....
ebay price of course.... but still brand new and perfect [Wink]

only thing i didnt like was the trim ring that i had to cut down myself to fit right....
but of course ya want the screen protector, video bypass unit, and ipod cable, and also sirius tuner [Wink] so that raised the price another 100bucks or so but still a good price for the unit....

only thing i dont realy care for is the ipod navigating isnt that great... but still works.

just save up alittle more and just get the dvd unit [Wink]
ya never know ya might like the dvd player... i dont use it that often but its nice for show...

The JVC double din that plays MP3 cd's etc is good for the price. It is one of the less bulky ugly looking CD/Tape double dins. If you go with a Screen and aren't interested in Navigation the Pioneer AVHP6800DVD is awesome!
