i used to have a site saved in my favorites , where you could type in your enclosures cubic feet , desired hz, and port size and it would give you the length to cut the port off for that frequency, does anyone know what i mean? it was for both round and slot ports
i cant find it, id appreciate any help

it applies to when using one of your enclosure walls as part of the port, from what I learned you take hlf of your port width and minus this from the length of your port.
if you calc out your port to lets say 15 inches and your port is 4 wide take half of that = 2 then make your port 13 inches to equal it out

and if you use 3 sides of the enclosure as the port then your port acts like half width longer?
