Well just like the topic says i'm having a noise problem on my pontoon boat.The FM radio sounds great until you turn the ignition key to the accessory position.As soon as the key turns and i'm not talking about to start the motor i'm talking about just clicking it into acc the fm radio gets horrible static.any ideas what it could be.

I would check the ground of whatever accessory turns on when you switch the key on. The noise I would imagine is coming from there.

the only thing that turns on i believe is the fuel pump and that is connected directly to the motor.i would think it would be grounded well but at least it gives me another thing to check out.
