'06 Tahoe with 3rd row seating

I want to keep my stock navi unit and upgrade the stock (Bose) components. Additionally, I want to add a sub.

The sub will need to be housed within the rear left (driver) side panel next to the 3rd row seating.

I was told by the guy who installed the system in my Lightning that a box can be glassed up to fit an L7 10" and that an L7 12" would be too big. By contrast, when I called StreetNoyz, I was told they had and could fit an Image Dynamics 12" in custom glassed box. I know they are two completely different subs but really don't know what, if any, difference in amount of bass I would get from the two different subs.

I'm not an expert by any means and probably couldn't hear any difference in quality between RS components, Boston Pros, or Dynaudios unless they were compared side-by-side. However, I know that I do what something that is going to give me the MOST bass I can get out of the space available.

As far as amps go, I'm indifferent...1 amp? 2 amps? I really don't know and don't care. I just want something that can and will power everything with a little power to spare.

With that said, what would you guys recommend within these parameters?

I'm hoping Steve can take a few minutes out of his busy schedule to tell me what he'd do.

Thanks everyone.

the L7 will get Real LOUD in the right enclosure and a decent amount of power, I have no experience with the Image Dynamics so I cant comment on that.

there are quite a few really good 5 channel amps out there, Memphis, Kicker, alpine and so on you just gotta find what you need as far as power(watts)

I would do the L7 10" and this amp memphis belle 1300 watts and some really nice mids and highs it would sound pretty nice IMHO

good luck

David
