well, i am still waiting for someone WITHOUT a wall AND a back seat to come get some in this street bass thing [evil grin]

Until i build a wall and push it to my b pillar, our systems are not equals and that includes the bassrace cars. But the playing music part that loud is cool, cant deny that. If they got me within the current rules, cant deny that either! [Cool]

meade just get another tahoe and build a wall and get an even more ridiculous score. there are a few posts on realm of excursion talkin about loudest street beaters and everyone they compare you to has walls, and then they claim they have daily drivers or street beaters but who would really drive around a car or truck with a wall in the back. And on top of bein loud your stuff looks clean. specially when compared to other cars or trucks with comparable scores.

yeah no kidding... Meade. How many mdf'd walls out there really get the oohhh ahhhh look from people? I see an unfinished f=wall and ask when you going to finish it? and walk away with a smirk.

anyone can do a wall, get some high numbers, but for it to look pretty also? we have another story...

I drive mine daily with a wall. I have had a few cars daily with walls. It just makes backing up and rearview mirror use a little more difficult ahhaha. But mine doesnt play music yet.... and i blew an amp.

i have a wall in a daily driver, i only own 1 car, and the wall is tuned to 38 hz. also i found that the sound quality is much better in a walled vehical due to less vibrating pannels. i dont think a wall is any less impressive then a box under the window line, its just harder to get a box loud. but another thing most of the walls you see are tuned to 60hz or above with over 300 sq inches of port, sorry vented [Razz] , im just saying you dont see many walls setup for a daily driving system, more people should do it it sounds great.

In my opinion, the Meade Tahoe is at least twice as loud as any real car.

He backs it up with numbers.

I know tons of people who have walls in their daily driver. Its also really ez to have a rear view mirror. Just spend about 300 bucks for a camera and a raw monitor. [Big Grin]

Ummmm....we actually do alot of walls around here, and yes they are done well and look awesome. I am not here to say whatever against or for Meade because his tahoe is definitely very impressive but to say that a vehicle is not really a daily driver because it has a wall is stupid. My daily driver is a truck with the backseat out and an enclosure that comes up to the bottom of the window. Another foot and a half and its a wall. Does that mean my truck is not daily driver?

Props to all Bass Racers in the 150 class. Anyone in this class is CRAZY LOUD!!! Do it your own way, but dont down on others for doing it their way.

i appreciate that but i wouldnt go that far [Smile]

im not against walls, i just think its two different beasts and if there was any place that classes should ever be divided it should be wall/no wall. IMO.

I had walls in my car before alot of people in here knew what a subwoofer was (like 1989-91) so its just a case of "been there, done that" .....not against it or anything. [Wink]

I prefer to keep my tahoe a tahoe for now but i have had plenty of 4 seaters that were turned to 2 seaters in the past.......wayyyyyyyy before i ever started competing and yes they were all daily driven streat beaters - even being a wall.
