I actually got a pretty good deal on the subs. Plus, they're only overpriced if you can't afford 'em [Wink]

Hmmm... I didn't know the optidrives were "cheap" amps. Inexpensive, yeah, but not cheap. I did a lot of research before i bought it. It seemed to fit my needs. The fact that it didn't cost a small fortune was just the cherry on top, nah mean? Besides, almost everything i've read said that it was both underrated and reliable. And just like people hate on JL because you can find the same/similar quality but cheaper, certainly you can't hate on the Lanzar because u can find same/similar quality at a higher price [Confused]

I needed ONE amp (due to space constraints, and for simplicity sake) that could produce 4000 watts rms @ 1 ohm. There really isn't a huge selection that meet that criteria. I thought about the hifonics goliath @ 5000 watts [Eek!] (is that more high-end, or no? [Confused] ) . I mean, really, I'm all for spending the dough to get what suits my needs, so what would you suggest?

Well, if you wanted 4k at 1-ohm, the goliath would be a great choice, except you would get a lot more than 4k if you had the proper electrical. I would have just gone for something a little more high end to compliment your setup.
