Do you use any sort of rust prevention finish after drilling holes on the metal parts of the car? Such as fuse holder, dist. block, hole to run power wire through the firewall, etc.

no need. the bass will shake any rust loose anyways.

j/k though. if a lot of metal is exposed for any reaso, yeah, i'll cover it. something the size of a self-tapping screw though, i'll only give it a quick spray if there isn't a screw going back in there.

when i drill holes in the firewall and run wire i silicone around them...

I've seen rust around my buddy's screw for his ground and I haven't put any holes in my car yet, just thought maybe I can just put some grease on it to make it rust proof.

at napa you can buy a spray can of batery terminal coating. it sprays out clear and drys clear but not hard like clear coat. that will do the trick for ya.
