So I was thinking of getting a truck to do a cut through in. I was telling somebody about my idea and they said not to because the doors usually start sagging on trucks with a cut through? has anybody heard of this?
is there something you should do to increase the structural integrity of the truck when doing one? maybe make a steel frame to go around the cutout or something?

wrong, if done right its fine. there are plenty of bagged trucks that take a lot more abuse than a daily ride that are doing justfine.
why would doors sag from cutting the backwall? the back wall still has enuff support to be safe, and the doors would only sag if u cut something actually supports the door.

i have a blowthrough, and i'm bagged. my truck's doors have no problem. when you're cutting it up, you're not cutting any support pillars at all... just basic body metal. you may be cutting into some of the rear window's bracing a little bit, but not enough to make a difference. if it does, just weld some extra suppotr in.
