as i said i cant find one? i called my american international dealer and he has no listing as neather dose there website. i have a distributor that carrys metra but they dont have anything listed on there site. i went to 03 taurus and it says 00 and up.

the difference between the 03 model and the 05 is the defrost is in a different location and there is a airbag light if there is over 75lbs in the passenger seat to tell ya it's on. the metra kit is 99-5716 and i have installed several they are the same size but not set up the same.

anybody done a 05 taurus to know?thanx...SPLaudio,Corey

thanx Tempe but as a installer i cant do this to anybodys car. what they are doing is bypassing the switch in the seat so the air bag is on all the time. if there is a kid in the front or a child in a car seat the airbag WILL deploy and hurt or kill the child. not worth a hurt kid and a lawsuit. i cant believe metra or ai hasnt come up with a fix for this. i will have to email them and see what they say... thank you again for the post good readin...SPLaudio
