I have been reading old post and taking in any info i can get. It seems that E.Q.s are not really needed. My setup would be 2*1000ds and maybe 2*re s. I really would like to know if it does anything to make more bass. Things like setting the EQ freq in the rear how can you not love it CROSSFIRE. Beside taking care of the highs what else do it offers. How would I kill my highs come comp time is the main issue. For the last few weeks I have been tring to find out who uses what and how has it helped draging scores.

if u have a nice deck with high pass filters or built in crossovers, I see no need. I have never used a crossover or EQ. I have always had a nice deck and made sure it was set rite.

Sometimes a sound processor is a good thing, sometimes it hurts. If you have a head unit with only 2 volt preouts on it, a line driver is a handy toy, especially if you get one with a variable fequency boost like the epicenter or basscube.
