i dont mind buying a xxx or something of that sort, but i need a 10 inch sub. if i got a single XXX and glassed the sides to get curvature, does it stand a chance at being big enuff to port, or a good sealed box anyways? is there any other subs yall reccomend? i dont want to be STUPID loud, i want to be loud enuff to mess with my ears and all, just like low 140's. does anyone think with the right power and box the SE's can do this?

who keeps spare tires? [Confused]

andy's got it right, if you wanna play with the big boys you're going to have to make some consessions to the bass habit, or hang it up and buy four 10" bazooka tubes and leave it at that....which if they're on a decent sized amp might actually sound pretty good.

old glass project i started for a type r 12 i think, may of been my 15 rl-p lol, but either way, who thinks if done correctly this could pull 2.5+ out of my trunk?

i have to complete the mold, of course, and make a plug of this one tothen put into my trunk and work off of again, but once it goes all the way up the side and all the way to the seat side of the trunk, u guys think i can pull the space i need?

Damn!!! Grant H. I have a Brahma 15(1stGen) in a 1.5 cuFt enclsr powered by a 1500w Cadence amp and it bangs!!!(in a minivan). A 10" just ain't gonna do you justice. I dunno maybe you should colab w/sme 1 else thats in-2 car audio also, so yall can come up with other alternatives. No reason you shouldn't be able to fit something bigger and still have access to your spare.

Good Luck.

my friend has an 03 mustang w/o the mach stereo system. I'm currently building a box for it that is 14.5" tall X 35.5" wide X 28" deep at the top and 30" deep at the bottom with 52" of port tuned to 30hz for 2 Phoenix Gold Xenon 12s.
The subs and port are going to be firing forward into the cabin and are hopefully going to be sealed off from the trunk.

Its going to be 5.8 cubes net

Yes, I am going to have to assemble and glue the box inside of the trunk.
