I'm just curious if there is a company selling something like a small enclosure to put around the back of the speakers in doors. Water has warped my stock speakers to the point the voice coul scratches its so off center. Is there some other way to rid this problem other than not driving in the rain? I have seen some cerwin vega 4" speakers that come with a plastic cover over the whole back of the speaker but I have already bought 6.5's. I know you guys have something for me to fix this, thanks for any help you can offer. (and I'm guessing this is a general audio questioncause it covers mids, fab, enclosure etc.)

take a cup styrafoam or something water resistant cut it in half so it can cover the magnet and still provide the woofer free air.... i used duck tape and just wrapped in the inside of the hole about 4 layers and it stayed there forever.

X2 on the XTC but make sure to cut out a hole on the bottom so they dont hold moisture. if you dont the speaks will rust

i wouldnt drill a hole in them.... just add alittle silicone to the back to seal the water out and hold them inplace as well. maybe even silicone them to your door panel. no water should be able to touch yoru door panel due to the plastic covers on most doors inside.
drilling a hole in the botom i think would just let in moisture..... now maybe if ya did some type of drain hose as well kinda just a vent tube should keep moisture to a minimum....
tho of course IF your cars that old.... it would be best to replace the door window seals.... not sure what they call those window sweeps or something. ya realy wanna keep out as much water as you can! dont want your doors rusting out from the inside either.
