well thats all i can really say. i got up this morning to hit the nwa 3x and left my house at 6:40 am to go to this show. then i got there by 11:00am plenty of time to qualify. well something about power out or something they didnt start running cars till 1:00pm so then cars all got in line to run. lots of car was here at this show. so i got in line i no cars was moving so i went up after a bit to go ahead and register and c what what was going on. there was the lady runing the show i asked her if this was the usac meter is the other one for drag she said no that was for the local cars we wont do anything with drag till we are DONE with usac!!! i told her i wish i would have knew that befor i got up at 6am to make the 4 and a half hour drive!! so i knew how usac show go so i packed up and left KNOWING that it would be several hours befor i would be able to compeat! well i call some people back to see how the show went or was going. come to find out they didnt do drag brackets till after 7:00pm and wasnt finished till 9:00pm i was at the show on time to compeat and ready to go knowing how organized usac shows are i just left pretty much wasted my weekend. 9 hours of driving and a few hours at a show. over 12hours wasted!!!! i guess if dbdrag is going to have usac run there shows and put dbdrag dead last on the menu i am done i will not go to anymore shows or FINALS. this was a great looking show with a good turn out usac just can run a smooth show in my opinion. i didnt know there would be a day to make a show and have to wait over 9 hours for brackets!!! oh well i cant believe this was ran this bad. i am now done compeating. my little rant. Isn't this pretty much "par for the course" with USACi?

Didn't they try to run a bunch of dbDrag shows a few years back in a previous attempt at cross-promotion but ended up doing a horrible job of it?

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong [Confused]

before when they did usac and drag shows back in the day they had booths set up to run drag or usac! not usac then drag 7 hours after the show starts! i could of cheated at this show they didnt even know the rules! for drag! i talked to wayne today and he said he will check into this and didnt know his show was being ran like this! im prob not going to quit but if there isnt a head dbdrag judge at the show i will no longer go! usac clearly put usac first and if people wanted to stay around all day u could then run dbdrag! when u have a meter set up for local guys and then a meter set up for usac. and then the judge tells u that they arnt doing anything dbdrag till they are done with usac. is just bs!! i am not the only guy that left from this show. and the few that wanted to run dbdrag was not happy. also how do u get new guys to compeat if they dont know they can run dbdrag at all. really not good

Im sure Ralph will drum up some story explaining why this happened like it did instead of ocming out and saying he really dont give a damn if the db drag portion runs smooth or how the turnout is.

they did have head to head final rounds at the end but they only had one baserace car at the show. my point is that they are not promoting dbdragracing or if they do make u wait 7 to 8 hours after the show starts to run.

I feel your pain James. [Mad] I was there and it was a big ol cluster fudge. The problem with USAC is the owner. Instead of being on the mic the whole show he should of took control and rearranged the lanes to run more efficiently. He already had an mc for the show the owner of nwa. The whole waiting til USAC was done to run drag is total bs. I didn't even get to see my teammates run through and I stayed til 5:00 but had to leave to get to work. I agree they should of had a certified judge to run a 3x show. Last year I ran drag at the same show and Bobby Riley ran it. Everything ran smooth and we were done pretty early.
