Topic: CRX battery question
I have a CRX and a powermaster 3100 battery, I was wondering how the heck you fit it under the hood, its no bigger than an NSB90 or a Hawker 2100 and I know people have those under there but I can't seem to figure out the geometry of how to fit this battery under the hood while still being able to close the hood lol. Pictures would also be helpful my e-mail is newdeal_99@hotmail.com if you want to send pics -------------------- 2008 Spring Break Nationals Street B Champion 153.2dB 2008 dBDrag North American Finals 3rd Place Street A 155.0dB A user of many brands of gear whose name cannot be said

does taking out the battery tray help? It looks like its just there to help support the battery and it would sit in what appears to be the transmission mount even if the battery tray wasn't there -------------------- 2008 Spring Break Nationals Street B Champion 153.2dB 2008 dBDrag North American Finals 3rd Place Street A 155.0dB A user of many brands of gear whose name cannot be said

What Alan said. AC lines or not, factory radiator or not, it will fit that way. He shoe-horned his beside a B20 Vtec. If that will fit, yours will fit. -------------------- Obviously you don't know who we think we are. SBAudio

I used a hammer on the very first battery install back in the day. But there was no need for it with the new battery. I did have to do a little cutting and a little convincing. I also removed the factory tray and made one out of abs plastic that sat about an inch and a half lower. --------------------Team KICKER Incriminator Audio Riot Squad Powermaster FloridaSPL.com 2007 IASCA Stock Pro 1 World Champion

An NSB90 will fit in standing upright(posts on top). So will a few other batteries. If a Batcap can be installed neatly, nearly anything will fit. I'll post some pics of my Batcap install, maybe it will inspire. The battery tray is still in the car even with the Batcap.
