Hi there, as I said before, I plan my 2008 trip and at the moment its not for sure how big it will be bc. of the immense costs of about 7000 Dollars when I travel 8000 Miles to visit all the people I missed this finals. Will be 6.5 weeks of rental car and hotel. I thank a lot of people so much already what were so kind and giving me shelter for a couple of nights. I try to be as easy as possible and pay, if needed, at least for Food. Also I have send out some mails and PMs but the people didnt respond yet. Not verybody looks to the messages or mails regularly. So if your reading here, see your name, please mail me back hehe. But some dates are fix as you can see then on the single day infos. Trip will be from Las Vegas January 3rd (I arrive about 3PM non Stop from Frankfurt) til February 18th when I leave non stop from Chicago where I spend the last days of the trip with Maxxsonics John. Huge thanks for that ! Also thanks Alma Gates, Dave Downey, George Wu, Michael Hughes, Bruce Dressel, dB Steve, Jay Thomson... who have already offered me shelter, or at least the possibility during the trip.
So here are the days plannings, watch out and chime in if your close to the route I am going. I would be pleased to see as much as you guys as possible and spent some time with you to talk about this and that to fill in the gap of friendship I missed this year from you US guys.

3.1. Thursday Day 1 Arrive in Las Vegas 3PM. Get Rental car, go to Golden Coast Motel for one night.
4.1.Friday Day 2 Leaving early to go LA. Motel6 Anaheim or George Wus house. Possible Meeting with the XS SPL guys and whoever is in the area.
5.1.Saturday Day 3 Doing something in LA. Maybe meeting Sepp and go to Disneyworld. Going to George Wus house for one night.
6.1.Sunday Day 4 Again, doing something in LA If possible, another night at George, if not, taking a hotel.
7.1.Monday First Day of CES Day 5 Leaving early to Las Vegas (400km-500km) Arriving in afternoon. Check in at Wild Wild West Hotel. Having Hamburger with Cactus hehehe. (Letz go to Marys Monster Burgers accross Hard Rock Cafe) Or whatever...
8.1.Tuesday Second Day of CES Day 6 CES, whole day Dinner somehwere with somewho 2. Night at the Wild Wild West
9.1.Wednesday Third Day of CES Day 7 CES, Dinner as usual. Night 3 at the Wild Wild West (if its not too shabby)
10.1. Thursday Fourth Day of CES Day 8 CES last day.Dinner with??? 4. Night at the Wild Wild West
11.1.Friday Day 9 Leaving to Reno (700km) Got Hotel. MAYBE Dinner with Rusty and Ana. Depends on how they have time.
12.1.Saturday Day 10 Little sightseeing in Reno, taking pics, going to Sacramenteo (250km), meeting Steve Meade, Greg Perchal (If I ever will reach him) Habing a little Party somewhere Steve decides. Nice place, time to chat and so on... Taking Hotel in Sacramento.
13.1.Sunday Day 11 Seeing Steve Meade again after (or for) breakfast and enjoying some of his projects. Leaving to San Francsisco (160km)to pic the Golden Gate hopefully at sunset. Continuing to Modesto (150km) Take hotel and get some rest...
14.1.Monday Day 12 Visit at ZAPCO in the morning. Going to Santa Clarita (460km)
15.1.Tuesday Day 13 Seeing Vasquez Rocks leaving to Blythe (410km) for overnight
16.1.Wednesday Day 14 Leaving to Phoenix (240km) Meeting Alma & Scott and some more in the afternoon. 2. Night at the Marriott (THANKS 1000 TIMES Ma for managing that!)
17.1.Thursday Day 15 2nd Day with Alma, doing something, somebody want to join?
18.1.Friday Day 16 Leaving Alma and going to Grand Canyon (360km), make pics, continue to Page (180km) to the Hotel.
19.1.Saturday Day 17 See Page (+Antelope Canyon) in the morning and continue to Monument Valley (200km) to see it hopefully at daylight.Hotel there in Bluff.
20.1.Sunday Day 18 Monument Valley sightseeing photo trip (200km) Leaving to Albuquerque and going to 4 corners before. Fill in Canyon DeChelly at Chinle (100km detour)
21.1.Monday Day 19 Visit Nate Munson (360km) for a short stop, maybe for lunch. Continuing to Amarillo, Hotel.
22.1.Tuesday Day 20 Leaving to OKi City after breakfast. (420km) Arrival late evening at Mike Hughes house. Dinner together. 1. Night at Mike
23.1.Wednesday Day 21 Visiting DD or/and Kicker in Stillwater 2. Night Mike. Dinner with Mike and maybe Tracy
24.1.Thursday Day 22 Going to meet dB Steve after breakfast (510km) Arrival LATE at Steves house Maybe Dinner together 1. Night Steve (not sure yet)
25.1.Friday Day 23 Doing something with Steve, whoever wants to come, is in 2nd Night Steve
26.1.Saturday Day 24 Leaving to Memphis (450km) for a overnight stay in a hotel.
27.1.Sunday Day 25 Leaving to Florence to see Steve Cook for Lunch (250km) Havent contactet him yet, dont know if he is there. Leaving to Nashville (220km) Oki is going to White Castle, in Nashville. The only City where White Castle and Krystals is together... But late at night. Having Motel in Nashville, somebody want to join me at White Castle?
28.1.Monday Day 26 One more day in Nashville walking on memory lane. I still love this town ! Visiting the folks from the NCC, going to the Mall Who wants to be with me? Just yell "here". 2nd night in Hotel.
29.1.Tuesday Day 27 Going to Charleston 900km non stop! Going to Steak n Shake in Knoxville. Arrival LATE at Dave Downeys house. Dave, I still need the exact address ! Let me know soon.
30.1.Wednesday Day 28 Doing something with Dave, having food, talking trash, whoever wants to stop by, is welcome ! 2nd Night Dave
31.1.Thursday Day 29 Enjoying the day with whatever...Food, Girls... Going to the port where I picked up my car in 2003... 3rd night Dave
1.2.Friday Day 30 Starting early to Fayetteville to see Paul Nelson (350km) Having Party and great time with some people? Paul is doing some arrangements. Maybe we fall into golden corrall. People who may join the meeting : Border Motorsports, Alan Dante, Sick Bastards, Jay Lovelace, Erik Reid, the Wright Family... (not all know about it yet) and whoelse is in the area ! Just come and join us! We can tell details here in the threat when time is by.
2.2.Saturday Day 31 Leaving to Washington/DC Maybe a short Stop at Jay Lovelace shop (130km) And/Or Mike at Xtreme Audio in Mechanicsville (400km from Fayetteville via Jay, 350 without Jay) Arriving late in Alexandria at the hotel. (160km from Mike)
3.2.Sunday Day 32 Meeting Terry, and ? Having lunch at IHOP ? Doing sightseeing together around Washington. Want to see Tom Murphy at Du Pont Circle and get my ass whipped in a short chess match... 2nd night in Hotel
4.2.Monday Day 33 Early on the way to Cleveland to see Sam (600km !) Having Hotel already. Will have a nice evening with the horns...
5.2.Tuesday Day 34 Leaving Cleveland in the morning. Going to St. Clair Shores/MI to meet Big Noiz and have some nice quiet days at his house. Between: Meeting Pornstar for a short stop and get a Pizza. Arrive lete at Bruces house 1. Night Bruce
6.2.Wednesday Day 35 Doing nothing, togehter with Bruce. 2. Night Bruce
7.2.Thursday Day 36 Enjoying the life, again. 3. Night Bruce
8.2.Friday Day 37 Another lazy day in St. Clair Shores 4th Night at Bruces house. Hopefully his dogs didnt eat me up until then...
9.2.Saturday Day 38 Leaving (with Bruce?) to the meeting at Jays "Porn" Pizza. (130km) Having fun with the Baldmans and so on... Just come and join us. But let us know before. Night at Jay or hotel. This will be maybe another "Party" during my trip. The more people of the area will come, the better. I thought to meet up at Jays Pizza Place. But we should behave and try not to destroy the place hehe.
10.2.Sunday Day 39 Maybe a stop at Chris Norris, (200km) see him short, but have to get in contact with him first. continue to Michigan City (240km) or go directly to Maxxsonics John (360km) First night at Johns house. Thanks so much for being so brave to invite me for such a long time! I appreciate veeery much! I try not to bother you more than neccessary hahaha !
11.2.Monday Day 40 Rental car return. Driving around, visit the Alfaros,Chicago and all the nice places Whoever is in the area and want to come also, let us know. I try to write and almost finish the report during these days also to give John and family a little rest from me hehe.
12.2.Tuesday to 18.2.Monday, Day 41 to 47 Staying with John and do whatever is comfortable for us. Leaving home from Chicago on Monday. On Saturday Feb. 16th we will do another "big little meeting". The big trip final party with all who wants to join ! Hope that a lot of people will be around. We still have to see where we do it. A good and nice place to stay for a few hours.

For most time I will have internet access. So if you want to contact or meet me, just let me know then to arrange something in short time. Still some things are not arranged finally with meeting the people or staying at their houses. But its still time for that. But I dont think I can change the dates of arrival.
I am sooo excited about that trip ! You see I am in a hurry for almost the completely time ! Need 1 month more for such a route, but no time and absolutely not the money for that. And I still have some places in the US what I didnt visit yet. Must wait til next time. If O only would find a sponsor who will fully pay a 6 month trip during the competition season with my car...Never will happen I guess...
So, see you there and looking forward for replies and maybe some offers for shelter As I said, I pay with food (but not with 6 star french restaurants hahaha)

Oki, I noticed that you will be around the four corners area, try to go around Canyon De Chelly, very, very beautiful place to take pics, if you do then try to make it to the 'white house overlook' there is a trail that accually goes down the side of the canyon to the very bottom. I am originally from the four corners area (fruitland, NM). I have some pics posted at www.dinepride.com, if you want some then give me your email address and I can send you some. Thanks for any tip ! I am afraid that I cannot make it to De Chelly, even if I want. Its close by but I have my time shedule, thats what I hate ! But whenever its possible I do that ! Looking for nice possible spots all the time ! I was at Niagara Falls in 2005... But I plan to go to NY again, a lot of things to see there. Who knows ! I am not in the US for the last time ! Hopefully. The northeast of the US is not explored by me so far. Just NYC and Niagara Falls , but not higher.

Yes, I am full blooded Navajo. I suggest going to the antalope canyon before noon. It gets crowed after that. Try using the tour guides at the entrance to the canyon. The tour usually takes about an hour with them, the ones from the town of Page, only take 40-45 minutes. Make sure you empty your camera before you go. I took almost 200 pictures in less than an hour. An hour seems like a long time but while your in the canyon everything seems to speed up.

The lower canyon you have to go down some ladders to get to, plus the road to the canyon is a long dirt/gravel road. The upper is the one with the tour guides, parking lot is just off of the paved road. One most important thing about both canyons is going to be the weather, it doesn't rain much but when it does they close down both canyons, because of flooding. Another thing is that they close the (Upper) canyon if there is a movie company filming inside. When I went they said Nicolas Cage was going to film there for a week or so, closing the canyon for the week. I have sent you some more info to your email. If you can reply then I will be able to know that I wrote it down right and I will send more.

It was 13000km at first, but some points fell out of the frame, so it must be 10000km what you see there, plus the miles I travel between, another 1000-2000. Thats 7500miles all in all in 5,5 weeks, but I drive just about 22 days what makes an average of 340 to 380 miles each day I am driving and doing sightseeing the same time... I wonder if I get some points for my db drag account for that LOL...

get some one to hold a db drag in every state you travel to and compete with you're rental car..... then your trip meter on your stats page will be even more impressive!

Yeah, that would be nice I could take my TermLab with me, register a single point for every station I am for the trip, do my metering, and have maybe one competitor on the most shows hehe. And about 5000 Dollars in Licence fees...
Indeed, I would do some events as Single Point Judge as long as some people would come by and give at least the licence fees. Not more than 3 events druing the trip, when I am at some stations for more than one day maybe. To kill time haha. But that demands much more plannings and they would be "rough" shows with out the professional look of dB Drag, and thats not good maybe. But if somebody will do anevent during my trip, I am in believe me ! I always wanted to have some US points on my stats page, beside the world finals points, to make it real impressive hahaha !
