There are only 2 woofer manufacturers who make subs that will handle 40K.... [Big Grin]

actually, there are exactly zero but we can all dream! If someone has a sub that can handle 40k rms please enlighten me with a link to the website that states this, I want to go buy one!

on the other hand though, damn 180 is amazing enough number to achieve, but to do that with one sub...that is just awesome!

There are guys running 40K per woofer these days.
I say Peak for 2 seconds, Alan said rms.
I think Alan was implying that his amplifiers will do 40k rms.... [Freak]
I have no clue about the Stetsom amps, but I know that Sampsons and Z2's will do it PEAK with a brisk wind to their back.... going down hill.

No matter the power, no matter the sub, and no matter the batteries, Making an enclosure that will do a 170 with one subs is awesome, and doing a 180 with a single sub is completely amazing! Great Job Alan, keep it up!

the stetsom amplifiers are real powerfull .they are not made in korea or chine like the 2 amps that you talking about! if T3 needs help to get 40.000 w rms just call me and i ship to you the 10kd= 10.000 w rms @ 2 ohms 12.8 ac volts.... but don't get me wrong i think t3 woofers are good but i never teste and never see one to be Honest...but i hear that the T3 woofers are not to bad!i still likes more the DD woofers they performance its just unreal!!!!
